FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: What if I’m not satisfied with the final edits?
A: After edits are sent, we are not responsible for further touch ups. My team and I give 100% effort into every session and/or wedding ensuring that we take our time during the editing process. If you are unhappy with the final edit/s, with an extra charge we will re-edit where you are unsatisfied.
Q: How many photographers will be at my wedding?
A: I photograph most weddings myself, but I can add a second photographer if it seems like the situation warrants it for additional price.
Q: Do you have experience in shooting poor lighting situation?
A: Yes, we are very comfortable working in poor lighting conditions. We will have various lighting equipment on hand when needed.
Q: DO YOU CHARGE FOR TRAVEL?
A: There are no additional travel fees for wedding travel occurring in the lower 48, as long as you book at least 60 days in advance. Plane tickets get pretty expensive after the 60 day window passes, and we’d have to discuss fees at that point if you're more than a 6 hour drive from Atlanta. My travel fees for international destination weddings are very reasonable. Be sure to check out my Free Travel for US Weddings page for all the details. Email me now to see if your date is available.
Q: Do we need to provide you with a meal?
A: Yes, please. It’s a long hard day and by the time dinner starts my tank is usually empty.
Q: Are we allowed to set aside a few minutes for staged portraits?
A: Yes. I always encourage couples to set aside a couple minutes for staged portraits with their partner. These are typically shot at one location for speed and simplicity. For family portraits, those are fairly quick and should not take more than 15 minutes so that you are able to carry on with the rest of the wedding events.
Q: Will you personally be editing our photos?
A: Yes, I will be personally editing each photo. I do not use presets, each individual photo will be carefully examined with the minimum techniques. (Composition, color correction, exposure, and some insistence’s removing blemishes. Anything outside of that will require advanced editing which will be an additional fee)
Q: Who selects the photos for our wedding album?
A: In the digital gallery that contains your wedding images, you will be able to select up to “60 images” to fit in your wedding album. The album that comes with the package is a 20 page lay flat wedding album.
Q. Do you deliver every image you shoot?
A: No, we do not. We eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. For example, because we shoot with low apertures, sometimes we take a few extra shots to make sure we have the perfect focus. We don’t expect you to have the expertise or the time to zoom into each image to select the one with the sharpest focus, so we spend hours doing that on our end. In another example, candid laughs and emotional tears are some of the best images from the day. Unfortunately, they can also yield some unflattering facial expressions. We might snap a few extras of any of these moments to make sure we have a great shot with the ideal expression for the moment. With our expertise of processing millions of images each year, we may eliminate ones that we feel are duplicates and only deliver the best one.
Q: Have you shot at my venue before?
A: We have shot at hundreds of venues, so there is a good chance that we have. However, if we have not, we will get to the venue early on the day of and be sure to perform a thorough walk-through to scout out the best photography locations. We also do extensive online research prior to your big day!
Q: Which photographer will be shooting my wedding?
A: Typically, the photographer you meet with will be the photographer for your engagement session and wedding. You may request to meet with a specific photographer; otherwise, we’ll make the decision based on personality, availability, language abilities, and your referral. For example, if Greg shot the wedding of your friend who referred you to us, he would likely be the one meeting with you.
Q: Does your studio do headshots, individual portraits, family portraits, newborn shoots, commercial photography, or other types of photography?
A: Yes, we have experience in many fields of photography. Feel free to contact us.

Q: Can I see a full event from start to finish?
A: Of course you may! We pride ourselves on the consistency of our work. We understand all photographers post their best shots from each wedding on their websites so it’s hard to determine how well he or she will perform on the wedding day. That is why we encourage all of our potential clients to view full events from all photographers they meet with to see how well the photographer performs throughout the day.
Q: My venue is very dark. How does your studio handle these situations and can I see samples?
A: We have shot in the darkest of dark chapels and reception halls so no need to worry! If the situation allows, we will set up additional lighting to ensure we get focused pictures. Some chapels do not allow for flash photography; and for that reason, we shoot on camera’s with superb low-light performance and lenses with low apertures (check out our Toolkit here).
Q: Is there a style or quality difference among the photographers?
A: No. We take every measure to ensure consistent style and quality among our photographers. We have developed the unique style you see in our work over the years. Each shoot is reviewed to ensure our quality and style are consistent. All mistakes, no matter how minor, are scrutinized by the team. We trust that the quality and style of photography you receive will be consistent. However, we do tailor our shooting style and techniques to our client requests. For example, some clients may prefer a light and airy look while others may prefer dramatic lighting and shadows.
Q: How long do Is the gallery link that contains my final edits being active?
A: Your link that contains a gallery to your edits are set to be active for 2 months. After that, the link will be inactive and deleted to make room for other clients. Make sure as soon as you get the link, you make it a priority to get them all downloaded in time before the link expires. Quality SSD Hard Drives for storage cost hundreds of dollars. To keep your files on file would be costing me. Any pictures needed after the 2 months would be a fee of $100 up to 6 months. We are not responsible for pictures after 6 months.
